Job SummaryDistributes and collects incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Assembles orders and prepares goods
for shipment. Works under immediate supervision. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to
perform the functions of the job.Job Description

Essential Functions
1. Receive, sort and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail or packages
2. Responsibilities include determining, affixing, and recording postage on registered mail and packages
3. Post all outbound mail for delivery to the Post Office or for overnight delivery agencies
4. Completes mailing reports
5. Gathers and reports on S&R metrics such as inbound and outbound packages and mail
6. Receives and distributes UPS & FedEx packages
7. Works within UPS and FedEx software programs
8. Receives PO's when packages are received within customer's software programs

Knowledge and Skills
1. Basic computer skills
2. Excellent communication skills with company personnel
3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
4. Strong organizational skills
5. Ability to adhere to customer rules & regulations
6. Must be willing and able to work overtime if necessary
7. Enhance communication and teamwork within Mailroom and across other Facility groups
8. Foster a proactive approach to daily tasks and projects
9. Requires problem solving skills

Education and Work Experience
1. High School Diploma
2. Minimum 2 years of excellent customer service related experience required
3. Minimum 1 year Post office, mail center and/or previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
4. Forklift certification preferred

Requirements
1. Valid California driver's license and clean driving record to operate vehicle
2. Pass a criminal background check.
