Position Summary
We're looking for an energetic, detail-driven self-starter to join our Marketing team as a Marketing Associate. This role supports the development and execution of customer acquisition and retention campaigns across a mix of direct mail, email, SMS, and lead generation channels, with growing emphasis on data and analytics to guide decisions. You'll partner closely with creative, compliance, risk, and external vendors to bring campaigns to life on tight timelines, and you'll help build the test-and-learn roadmap that drives loan originations growth that leverages AI-powered tools to drive efficiency and innovation across campaigns.This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys managing complexity, wants broad exposure across a lending business, and is looking to grow into a strategic marketing career. Prior experience with a direct response or digital marketing agency, or in an organization where direct mail/email/digital marketing is highly visible, is a plus.
What You'll Do
  • Assist in developing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns - direct mail, email, SMS, and digital/paid - in partnership with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize AI tools and platforms to support content creation, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization.
  • Manage creative review, approval, and production with product, legal, and compliance stakeholders and agency partners, keeping projects on tight timelines.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors - lettershops, printers, creative agencies, and data providers - to ensure accurate, on-time campaign delivery.
  • Partner with Risk and Analytics to track key originations metrics (volume, response rate, cost per acquisition, conversion) and translate results into actionable recommendations.
  • Support test design and execution (A/B and multivariate testing) across offer, creative, and channel, and help evolve the testing roadmap based on performance.
  • Pull and interpret campaign performance data using tools like Heap Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Excel, and internal reporting dashboards; build clear, recurring performance reports for stakeholders.
  • Help maintain campaign calendars and project timelines, flagging risks and dependencies proactively.
  • Assist the UI/UX Designer with website and landing page content updates in support of campaign launches.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with applicable regulations and internal policy, escalating questions to Compliance and/or Legal teams as needed.
  • Take on other marketing projects and administrative duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct response, email, or lifecycle marketing; direct mail experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience directing or coordinating with external agencies, data providers, printers, or lettershops.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, or similar platforms for content and workflow assistance.
  • Comfort with analytical reporting tools for campaign analysis. Exposure to GA4 or another web analytics platform like Heap Analytics is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adroll, or similar) a plus but not required.
  • Interest in - or experience within - consumer lending, financial services, or another regulated industry is a plus, but not required.
