Magyar Bank, a leader in the community banking sector, is searching for qualified candidates to join our Facilities team in the Central New Jersey area as
Courier/Facilities Assistant – Full Time
The Facilities Assistant will deliver mail and other financial documents, assist the Facilities Manager in the daily operations of property management, including branches and bank owned properties, security, general services and special assignments as assigned.
Essential Functions:
  • Serve as Courier
  • Deliver mail and documents to the appropriate department and/or location
  • Conduct regular stops at the post office and delivers/picks up different types of documents and other items as needed
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in all areas of facility maintenance and general clerical assistance.
  • Respond to and perform routine repairs requests.  Routine maintenance of buildings.  Notify facilities manager of any needed repairs
  • Set up and break down for Bank community events, promotions, etc.
  • Move furniture, business equipment when required
  • Maintain maintenance issues log, schedule service calls and service call log with invoice control.
  • Maintain expense record and contract files
  • Monitor supply orders
  • Escort outside vendors when on-site
  • Other duties as assigned
