Froedtert Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Title:  RN - Medical/Surgical

Location:  Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 12hr nights, every other weekend, float as needed

Requirements:  2 years of RN - Medical/Surgical experience

-Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
-AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The job description aligns with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Qualifications:

  • Cardiac Telemetry Care experience
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing
  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
