Job description

Come join a fun team with a fun culture while working in the beautiful Jersey Shore environment! The all-new Madison Resort Wildwood Crest, formerly known as the Oceanview Motel is a beach front property that was built in 1963, and at the time was the largest motel ever built in The Wildwoods. Recently purchased by Madison Resorts, this property was recently fully restored and won Best New Hotel by USA Today for 2025!

The property consists of a hotel, which will boast over 200 hotel rooms, multiple restaurants, multiple pools, and of course beach service with much more to come in future years.

Summary:

The role of the Server is to provide fast and flawless service to our dining guests. In addition, the server needs to provide a positive memorable experience to our guests. 

Responsibilities:

  • Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
  • It is the server’s responsibility to confirm their schedule with MOD one week in advance
  • Be knowledgeable, know all products and special instructions per manager on duty
  • Wear proper uniform, clean & pressed. 
  • Restock all necessary items needed for service and or event before during and after scheduled shift
  • Review all paperwork from manager, paying attention to special arrangements/details/counts
  • Communicate with MOD on inventory needs
  • Assist team members through efficient service at all times
  • Keep all service areas including kitchen area in sanitary condition in accordance with Board of Health Standards. See MOD for specifications and/or special instructions
  • Ending shift with MOD approval
  • Provide quality service to all patrons by greeting them promptly and professionally in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of menu, daily features, promotional offering and be able to effectively convey overall knowledge of property events and locations.
  • Place all orders promptly and accurately through the POS system
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery of food and beverages
  • Remove Replace Replenish Restock all required items
  • Prepare guest check and collect payment
  • Proper verbiage, good judgment and tasteful conversation must be used at all times
  • Set up any reservation/event etc., as directed by supervisor or MOD on duty
  • Attend pre shift in order to execute all points of service and/or special assignments or instructions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Serving experience preferred.
