Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina is a contemporary Italian eatery specializing in authentic Neapolitan, wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, and delicious small plates. Founded in 2010, we are passionate about providing our guests with "clean food" made from carefully sourced ingredients. We are looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Royal Oak team and help maintain the high standards of our kitchen.

Job Description:
Are you looking to start your career in the culinary industry? As a Dishwasher at Bigalora, you are the backbone of our kitchen operations. You will ensure that our chefs have clean, sanitized cookware and that our guests eat off spotless dishes. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth for those who show initiative and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate commercial dishwashing machinery to clean plates, glassware, silverware, and kitchen tools.
· Wash and sanitize large kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, and prep containers.
· Maintain a clean and organized dish area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
· Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed (e.g., washing and peeling produce).
· Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and equipment.
· Empty trash and recycling receptacles regularly.
· Assist with kitchen cleaning and organization at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

· No previous experience required – we are willing to train the right candidate!
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Reliable transportation to and from Royal Oak.
· A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume periods.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
