What role will you play?

The role is dedicated to Principal Finance's Equity and Capital Solutions strategy. The strategy covers junior capital, structured equity, and select private equity investments in a variety of sectors including but not limited to financial services, business and IT services, and infrastructure.
Your primary responsibilities will be identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities. Key day-to-day contributions will include:
  • Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts
  • Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions
  • Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence-based approach
  • Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis
  • Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations

Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $210,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
