What role will you play?

As an intern in Macquarie Asset Management, you'll be a part of providing investment solutions to a broad range of clients. You'll play a role in managing critical infrastructure assets like electricity networks, renewable energy platforms, data centers, port terminals and other essential businesses.
You'll learn from industry experts as you are placed in one of our Macquarie Asset Management teams based on your skills, experience and interests matched with our business need. These could include teams within Client Solutions Group, Real Estate or Solutions.
Client Solutions Group (CSG) provides clients with a single point of contact across the breadth of our asset management platform. CSG's remit includes Institutional and Wealth Distribution, Product, Marketing and Communications.
Real Estate is a global real estate investment business with a differentiated approach to accessing high-conviction real estate opportunities in sectors backed by global megatrends. By investing in and partnering with our sector specialist operating platforms, Real Estate provides investors with superior local access to investments focusing on long-term value creation.
Solutions is a global investment business with a track record of delivering superior results for our institutional and wealth clients. Solutions' mission is to use our specialist expertise to provide clients with innovative investment solution outcomes. Our clients benefit from access across investment approaches and vehicle types.
Estimated salary amount is the equivalent of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, prorated for the length of time of the internship. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector and geographic location.

As part of this ten-week internship, you will:
  • Complete meaningful and challenging work allowing you to gain practical experience to tie into your theoretical knowledge from school.
  • Take part in an orientation where you'll learn about Macquarie's business groups with your fellow Macquarie interns and receive technical training.
  • Receive support and guidance from your manager and aligned mentor.
  • Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture.
  • Present a project you worked on during the program to senior management.
