Job description

Intellivation is seeking a top-notch individual with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience to join our machining department. Intellivation is a locally owned and operated company with a fast-growing team that designs and builds innovative machinery used in the manufacturing of high-tech products for industries including electronics, solar, medical devices, defense, and more. We deliver high quality systems and solutions for our customers with our dedicated and creative team. Our machines are complex and are comprised of multiple mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems. We are vertically integrated with all engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and testing operations performed on site. We have a dedicated internal machine shop which supports our systems manufacturing.

The ideal candidates will be a graduate from a machining technology program with at least 2 years of machining experience. We are looking for reliable, and detail-oriented individuals that are willing to support our mission for excellence.

Schedule
We are hiring for our morning and afternoon shift, from 5:30 AM - 2 PM and 11AM - 7:30 PM. Monday thru Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Typical Tasks

- Setup and operate Haas 3 axis CNC mills and Haas CNC lathes with live tooling and Y axis.
- Adjust Feeds, Speeds, and offsets to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Setup and operate manual Mills and Lathes.
- Precision machining of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, carbon steel, ceramics, plastics, and other materials, per prints.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Inspection of completed parts.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements
