  • Provide technical support,Training and assistanceto keep the CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, ;aser, saws and routers running
  • Support reviewing new engineering releases and providing estimated run time and equipment selection
  • Assist with troubleshooting any lathe and mill equipment and coordinating outside maintenance as needed
  • Assist with material oversight, inventory and scrap
  • Responsibility for ensuring material is cut and provided timely
  • Provide status update on job orders as requested
  • Ensure secondary work is completed timely
  • Maintain tool crib
  • Ensuring all operators have correct job order priorities
  • Reviewing new engineering releases and providing estimated run time and equipment selection
  • Communicating with Manufacturing Manager on resource and tooling needs
  • Troubleshooting all equipment
  • Shared responsibility for ensuring material is cut and provided timely to weld
  • Assist in distribution of Quality Checked Parts to Weld Team
  • Provide status on customer job orders as requested
  • Review QC Table for internal rework daily

Who we're looking for?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or completion of a 1 or 2-year Tool Technology or related program.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams
  • Familiarity with CNC set up, programming and running VMC machines, scales, calipers, micrometers and other tools used to check parts against drawings.
  • Familiarity with manual machining operations including mills, lathes and saws.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprint drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to stay organized and ensure that the work area is clean, safe and orderly.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and well as be punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to perform basic math (standard and metric) including working with and converting between fractions, and decimals.
  • All other duties as assigned
