The Quality Inspector will ensure conformance to specifications for machined parts.
- Ensure machined parts meet exact engineering specifications detailed on blueprints and engineering drawings. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Perform First Article, In-Process, and Last Article inspections on parts as needed.
- Document results and findings in accordance with internal standards using approved software and processes.
- Perform as needed inspection/calibration procedures to fulfill Hamilton company needs external to the machine shop.
- Collaborate with operators and internal engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to part inspection results.
- Work alongside operations staff to develop and carryout in-process inspections.
- Utilize inspection equipment such as, but not limited to - calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges, height gauges, CMM, form tracers, optical comparators, microscopes, etc.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to set standards and expectations.
- Communicate constructively and effectively with all team members on a timely basis.
- Capable of learning and utilizing quality inspection software for data input.
- Expert Knowledge of dimensional inspection.Â

- Ability to program CMM and other similar inspection equipment desired, but not necessary.
