Job description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Machine Shop Helper for a machine shop in Houston, TX 77095. If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing machines for production
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Move materials, tools, and parts throughout the shop
  • Perform shop and trash cleanup
  • Clean machinery and equipment
  • Perform light maintenance duties
  • Deburr machined parts
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist machinists and shop personnel as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of shop, manufacturing, or industrial experience
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic hand tools
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
