Machine Shop Helper

Northwest Houston, TX

$16-$18/hour
2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, MON-THURS (MUST BE WLLING TO TRAIN ON DAYS FOR ATLEAST A MONTH)

We are seeking a Machine Shop Helper for a growing manufacturing company in Northwest Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is mechanically inclined, and is eager to learn in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with machine preparation and setup
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
  • Move materials throughout the shop
  • Perform light maintenance and deburr parts
  • Remove trash and help keep the shop organized

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of related experience
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable performing manual labor and working in a shop environment
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Steel-toe boots required
