Job description

We are currently seeking Shop Assistants experienced in various machine shop skills to work for a manufacturing company in the Austin, Texas area. There are Day and Swing shifts available. Monday through Friday, Days 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Swings 2:30 PM to 11 PM. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deburring parts
  • Buffing and polishing materials
  • Operate machines
  • Washing and cleaning parts
  • Assisting with general shop duties as needed
  • Orbital welding
  • Tube bending

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a willingness to learn.

You should be proficient in:

  • Deburring Experience
  • Aerospace Manufacturing
