We are hiring for a precision CNC machining company specializing in high-tolerance parts for the semiconductor and firearms industries. The 8,000 sq. ft. facility is home to a team of 11 skilled professionals dedicated to delivering top-quality machined components. The company primarily operates CNC mills with Haas and Okuma controls, focusing on high-mix, low-volume production.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills (primarily Haas and Okuma) for precision machining.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to meet tight tolerances.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work efficiently in a high-mix, low-volume environment, particularly in firearms manufacturing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, specifically in setup and operation of milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining best practices.
  • Experience working with Haas and Okuma controls is highly preferred.
