Job Description: Machinist Level 3

Pay Range: $35.00 - $44.00

Manual Machinist: Hilton Tool is a Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components. Specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. A successful candidate will be able to Plan and layout work, set up and operate various Manual mills, lathes, with a focus on Lathes. Inspect parts to ensure they are within tolerance using precision measuring tools such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc. Able to hold tolerances of +/-.001.
Job Type: Full-time
DAY SHIFT:
Monday-Thursday 6 am-4:30 pm
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to drawing specifications
  • Read and understand production process work instructions and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements
  • Mitigate risk and solve problems. (Think outside the box)
  • Setup equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing process
  • Setup tools and fixtures.
  • Monitoring the production process. Able to think critically and adjust process when problems arise.
  • Measure parts throughout the manufacturing process and adjust as needed to ensure process paper and drawings compliance.
  • Inspecting finished parts per drawing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Have a positive attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of Manual machine tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of machining and machining processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of machine shop tooling, speeds and feeds
