Maintenance Technician AMP

Position
The Maintenance Technician position will support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment critical to production and will also assist in maintaining the facility.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and support the following equipment: CNC burn tables, press brakes, CNC machining centers, welding equipment, wet/powder coating painting lines, as well as a variety of pieces of support equipment.
  • Perform mechanical duties including rebuilding/installing gearboxes and power transmission systems. Repairs of various machine failures, and installation and removal of manufacturing equipment
  • Perform Electromechanical tasks as needed including troubleshooting, programming, and installation of Variable Frequency Drives, Programmer Logic Controls (PLC) and HMI, As well as installing, rebuilding, and troubleshooting electric motors and components up to 480Vac.
  • Perform general facilities maintenance including plumbing installations, repair work on HVAC systems, and general building upkeep. In addition, perform basic carpentry and fabrication projects.
  • Operate various powered equipment including forklifts, scissors lifts, cranes, skid loaders, etc.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field of study; or three to five years of proven related experience.
  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints as well as Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic schematics.
  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and wiring control circuitry.
  • Valid driver 's license required.
