Job description

The Operator supports manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently performing a variety of of production related tasks. This roles is designed to be flexible and adaptable allowing employees to contribute across multiple production areas as business needs require. Operators are expected to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to company policies, and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform production and material handling tasks in support of manufacturing operations
  • Operate, monitor, and assist with industrial machinery, tools, and equipment following training and authorization
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished productions to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions, including PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Accurately completed required documentation , logs, and production records
  • Assist with setup, changeovers, and routine operational tasks as assigned
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Communication effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and support departments
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with training, and qualifications

Safety and Compliance Responsibilities
  • Actively support Haynes International's safety culture and environmental standards
  • Report unsafe conditions, incident and near misses promptly
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements
