What you'll be doing:
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality decorated garments and products. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and the ability to follow job specifications to ensure accurate and consistent results.

  • Review work orders, job sheets, and design files to determine embroidery requirements.
  • Select the correct hoop size based on decoration size, choose the proper stabilizer for garment type, and hoop garments to appropriate location ensuring proper tension.
  • Load and thread embroidery machines with designated thread colors according to the job order.
  • Load digitized embroidery designs, assign thread colors, and verify design accuracy.
  • Operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality sew-outs, monitoring for thread breaks, mis-stitches, or quality issues.
  • Perform machine adjustments including thread tension, presser foot settings, and hoop alignment as needed.
  • Conduct regular maintenance such as changing needles, cleaning, and oiling machines.
  • Inspect completed items for accuracy, quality, and consistency, making corrections when necessary.
  • Maintain organization of garments, job orders, and workstations to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Assist with other decoration processes (heat press, DTF, DTG, etc.) as needed.
