Job description

Mancan is partnering with a local company in Mount Vernon that is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team! If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: MondayThursday, 5:00 AM3:30 PM with overtime on Fridays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to accurately fulfill customer orders
- Assemble sheet metal products
- Set up machinery and make adjustments as needed
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and product quality
- Follow safety and production procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
- Previous preventative maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED
