Emblem Machine Operators are responsible for applying emblems (such as patches or logos) to garments and apparel using the emblem machine(s).

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Set up the machine to include the threading of needles and bobbins
  • Control and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain high-quality performance
  • Position garments and patches in the correct placement on the machine
  • Test the machine periodically and perform basic maintenance, including cleaning and replacing needles and bobbins
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws, and ensure the finished garment conforms to the pick ticket instructions
  • Follow standard operating procedures to achieve productivity and quality standards
  • Cross-train and work in other areas within Production/Warehouse as needed
  • Management reserves the right to assign other duties as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience as a machine operator and familiarity with sewing are preferred
  • Ability to work in a quick-paced environment with accuracy
  • Experience working with regular keyboard functions
  • Working knowledge of high-speed machinery
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Ability to read a work instruction document (WID) in English
  • Analytical skills
