Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Huntersville, NC. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient operations, product quality, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have prior machine operating experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety standards
  • Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines
  • Provides quality work and ensure accurate recordings
  • Inspect products for quality assurance and report any defects or production issues
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Work and train with Maintenance to be able to perform repairs and assist in machine change overs
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machines as required
  • Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
  • Non-slip closed-in work shoes, long pants, no hoodies or anything with string, if hair is long, you must pull it back
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred
  • Great attention to detail
  • Basic math and reading comprehension
  • Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations and quality
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Ability to use basic technology (Will be utilizing Outlook, Safefood, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and/or move weight up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work standing, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
Employment Type & Compensation
  • Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
  • Compensation: $17.00 per hour
  • Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
