Job description

Join our manufacturing facility in Aiken, SC as a Machine Operator (3rd Shift)
Schedule: Sunday Night through Thursday Night
Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by safely operating equipment, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for loading materials, operating machinery, monitoring production output, and preparing finished products for packaging and shipment.
In this role, you will work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals while adhering to all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Additional responsibilities include performing normal cutoff roll operations, restarting boilers and compressors as needed, applying cement throughout the production process, and blasting rolls when required. Machine Operators are also expected to assist in training team members, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
This position requires the ability to identify and address minor operational issues, follow work instructions accurately, and contribute to a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and have previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production equipment safely and efficiently are essential. Candidates must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, maintain a high level of attention to quality and safety standards, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
