Job description

Position Title: Machine Operator
Department: Various
Location: Brooklyn, OH
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Both shifts are available:
Schedule: 1st Shift: 5AM-3PM Monday-Thursday
Schedule: 2nd Shift: 3PM-1AM Monday- Thursday
Position Summary: This position will operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products. PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection are required at all times.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Must be capable of performing the duties of one or all of: CNC, Transfer, Mikron, Excello machines and various secondary processes
  • As directed, inspect machined parts visually and using less complex gauges
  • Operate, as required to load, unload and move raw materials and finished parts and tooling, various material handling equipment
  • Maintain records as required
  • Visually inspect parts
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area including removing chips from machines as required
  • Perform sorting and rework as required or directed
  • Perform and document P.M. as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Desired Experience:
  • 1 + years' experience as Machine Operator (preferred but not necessary).
  • Minimum six (6) months manufacturing experience preferred.
