Job description

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Milford, NH to hire Machine Operators. These are full-time, direct hire opportunities on 1st shift. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Position: Machine Operator

Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Duties:
• Review work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing documentation
• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment in assigned work areas
• Load raw materials and replace product as needed to maintain continuous production
• Perform product splicing and material changes during production runs
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and customer specifications are met
• Complete routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and equipment reassembly
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate repairs when necessary
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely
• Change propane cylinders and perform basic equipment checks
• Record production activity and maintain accurate documentation
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support additional manufacturing duties as assigned

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
• Wire and cable industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information accurately
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and moving equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
