JOB PROFILE
UTILITY MACHINE OPERATOR
Working location: Concord, NH, USA General Description
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Utility Machine Operator works proficiently with others, but also has the ability to work well independently. The Utility Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lathe and roll rotating equipment, roll grinders, rubber mills, and other assigned machines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Initial assignment qualities and responsibilities to include:

Safely operate assigned production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.

Review factory orders, work instructions, drawings, and specifications prior to beginning work.

Set up, operate, and adjust machinery to meet production and quality requirements.

Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Perform dimensional and visual inspections using approved measuring and inspection equipment.

Complete production, quality, labor, and other required documentation accurately and timely.

Report equipment issues, process abnormalities, safety concerns, and quality issues to supervision.

Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Assist with routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities as directed.

Handle and move materials, tooling, and finished products using approved methods and equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-train on additional equipment and perform other duties as assigned to support operational requirements.
