Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reads manufacturing methods, blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and feed rates.
  • Selects, positions, and adjusts machine to proper specifications called out in manufacturing method.
  • Verifies silicon rubber is properly stored prior to use.
  • Moves controls to position take up reel, extruder, and collection reel. Controls feed rate, speed, and machine rate.
  • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
  • Sets up and operates machines and equipment other than machine tools such as inspection machines and cooling equipment.
  • Performs quality inspection on finished product.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.ย 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
