CNC Machine Operator: Delavan, Wisconsin
Our customer in Delavan, Wisconsin is looking for a hardworking, detailoriented individual to join their team as a CNC Machine Operator to work fulltime on 1st shift. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment to perform precision machining operations while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to perform progressive machining operations.
  • Operate machines by manipulating controls, adjusting coolant flow, and monitoring operations.
  • Perform closetolerance machining including drilling, reaming, tapping, turning, milling, deburring, filing, and sanding.
  • Work from drawings, specifications, and job layouts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure dimensions and tolerances are met.
  • Remove burrs from finished parts and chips from machines after operation.
  • Operate multiple machines as needed to support production flow.
  • Make machine and tool adjustments as required to maintain quality.
  • Maintain cutting tools in proper working condition.
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
CNC Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of CNC machining experience required.
  • Three to four (3–4) years of manufacturing experience as a machine operator preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and occasionally hot manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely.
Pay for CNC Machine Operator: $22.00–$27.00/hour.
