Job description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Machine Operator to support production by setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a hands-on production environment.
Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Set up machines including calibration, cleaning, and preparation for production runs
- Operate and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed to ensure optimal performance
- Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
- Monitor machine operation and perform routine checks to ensure proper functionality
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues during production
- Manage chemical usage, storage, and disposal in accordance with safety standards
- Record production data including approved, defective, and completed units
- Maintain accurate activity and production logs
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
Machine Operator Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working as a machine operator, assembler, or any other factory/manufacturing role
- Sewing experience is a plus but not required
- Live within 30 minutes of Sanford
