Job description

We're expanding our Production Team in Mason, OH. Now hiring experienced Press, Shear and Saw Operators on 1st and 2nd shifts.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating shear, saw and brake presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipment
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap
  • Maintaining area cleanliness
  • Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print
  • Operate a forklift for daily operations
  • Data entry on computer system
  • Perform daily checks on machines
  • Additional items as assigned by manager
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of ability to operate shear, saw and brake press machines
  • Have basic knowledge of blueprint reading
  • Ability to set up and train others a plus!
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to be detail oriented
  • Ability to be reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

EQUIPMENT USED
This position will use a stamping press, other metal forming, fabricating and processing equipment.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position works on the manufacturing floor. They must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
