Job description

Mancan is working with a company in Winesburg looking for a press operator. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Training will begin on 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. After training, transfer to 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 4pm-midnight. Pay starts at $17 per hour during training and increases to $18 per hour after transferring to 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain press machinery to ensure the efficient production of goods.
- Perform manual tasks related to the production process, including loading and unloading materials, inspecting products, and making necessary adjustments.
- Work in a high-speed production setting, maintaining focus and efficiency to meet production quotas.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products and machinery to ensure that the production process meets the required standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or press operator role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
