Job description

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring aย 2nd Shift AIKI Robust Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

Schedule:ย 1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday to Friday (Overtime, extended shift and weekend overtime work required)

ย 

Compensation: $18.25 per hour (plus $1.25 per hour shift differential)ย 

ย 

THE ROLE

The AFL Operator is responsible for operating the machine that cuts laminate sheets.

ย 

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.
  • Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5"S" criteria.
  • Manage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are being met.
  • Effectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5S criteria.
  • Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
  • All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Previous machine operating experience- required.
  • Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred
