Machine Operator – $21–$22/hr | Montgomeryville, PA

Adecco is hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Montgomeryville, PA. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with precision tools and equipment.

Pay: $21–$22/hr
Location: Montgomeryville, PA
Schedule: Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical specifications

  • Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools including lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders

  • Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and machine components

  • Position and secure workpieces using appropriate holding devices and equipment

  • Set machine feeds, speeds, depth of cut, and other operating parameters

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and conformance to specifications

  • Perform inspections and measurements of finished parts

  • Troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues and support corrective actions

  • Operate related equipment such as welding machines, bench grinders, forklifts, and overhead cranes

  • Respond quickly to production changes, including urgent or unplanned orders

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all work activities

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or apprenticeship in machining strongly preferred

  • Prior experience operating machine tools in a manufacturing environment required

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and/or assembly equipment preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); MRO system experience is a plus

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
