Job description

Extrusion Operator - Overnight Shift

Souderton, PA

Night Shift - 2 on - 2 off -3 on (7PM - 7AM)

Hourly Rate based on experience

Responsibilities:

Come join our team, we offer hands on training, stable full time schedule and growth opportunities within a team focused environment that promotes safety and quality.

  • Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment to meet production and quality standards
  • Monitor processes and product quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform in process quality testing and document results
  • Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when needed
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies and report near misses or incidents immediately
  • Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards
  • Support training of new team members
  • Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned


Requirements
  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not required. Training provided
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic hand tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment
