Overnight Extrusion Machine Operator

Location: Sarasota, FL
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: 3RD Shift | Full-Time

The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machinery to ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality plastic and carbon products. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production specifications.

  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality.

  • Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and gauges.

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.

  • Load raw materials and monitor material flow throughout the production process.

  • Complete production reports and quality documentation accurately.

  • Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
