Pay:ย 

  • $18.10 - $24.00/hrย 
  • $2/hr for nights/3rd shift

Shift: 8 pm - 8 am, 2/2/3 rotating, straight nights


Fitesa is seeking Machine Operators to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot extrusion, slitting, and/or recycling equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works a 12-hour night shift on a 2/2/3 schedule and is responsible for supporting production, quality, and safety goals.ย ย

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operator, warehouse, or industrial work experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Follow all Simpsonville Site Safety Rules
  • Perform Line Start-Up, Shut-Down and Shift Cleanup.
  • Communicate with off-going and on-coming operators to ensure proper hand-off.
  • Use quality data results to make adjustments to process conditions.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment within the specified limits of the appropriate center line.
  • Monitor, verify and change process conditions to comply with centerlines.
  • Operate and monitor the right setups for the machines assigned.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and work with process engineers to improve operations.
  • Perform troubleshooting of Extrusion, Slitting or Recycling lines.
  • Assist other team members, as needed, and perform all other duties as assigned.

ย ย Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Work around varying temperatures
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
