Position: Machine Operator (Assistant Cutter)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Machine Operator (Assistant Cutter) to work directly under our Floor Supervisor. This position will gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.
Pay: $16/hour
Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7am to 3:30pm
  • Flexibility is a must, hours subject to change based on production

Responsibilities
  • Machine operator for hot wire cutting lines with efficient consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

  • Stretch wrap bundles as needed/palletizing.

  • Track block numbers.

  • Tape measure/ruler knowledge.

  • Adaptive to change (Moving from one line to another).

  • Drives the line.

Qualifications
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.

Physical Demands
  • Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
  • Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.

  • Ability to perform duties in a high-temperature environment (150-170 degrees Fahrenheit) for short periods of time (typically less than 5 minutes).
