Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical servicesto long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
  • Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine
  • Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies
  • Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
  • Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment
  • Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards
  • Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technicianrequired
  • Experience with robotic systems and/or automated environment
  • Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred
