Job Description
Gabletek is seeking motivated Skilled Trades Trainees interested in building a long-term career in industrial automation and skilled trades. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable technical skills in a growing industry. We welcome both experienced candidates and individuals with little to no experience who are eager to learn.
Trainees will receive exposure and training in three primary skilled trades areas:
  • Machine Building
  • Electrical
  • Pipefitting
This position offers hands-on learning within an automation environment while working alongside experienced professionals. Trainees will participate in skilled trades training classes and practical shop experience designed to build foundational knowledge and real-world skills used in automation, manufacturing, and industrial systems.
Training Classes Include
  • Machine building fundamentals
  • Industrial electrical basics
  • Pipefitting fundamentals
  • Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Safe tool usage and shop safety procedures
  • Automation equipment and robotic system exposure
