Job description

Revolution is now hiring for a Maintenance Technician position in Terre Haute, IN. This role will be responsible for keeping all equipment operating through preventive and as-needed maintenance and documenting all repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Maintenance, installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facility.
  • Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts.
  • Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments.
  • Ability to learn, optimize, and run all plant equipment.
  • Interpret manuals, drawings, and equipment schematics to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery properly.
  • Respond to requests by production when mechanical issues have been identified and troubleshoot problems.
  • Communicate with production to diagnose problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to the equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency regarding time and resources.
  • Provide daily reports of activities during the shift.
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma, or GED required.
  • Technical certificate in electrical or machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Industrial, electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on plastic extrusion equipment is a plus.
  • Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or shifts with a strong work ethic and employment history.
