Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator/ Production Worker/Data Entry / General Labor

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Worker to support our corn processing operations. This role involves working indoors in a climate-controlled production environment to handle corn post-harvest through moisture testing to packaging and shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in dusty and noisy conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place corn husks on a conveyor system for husk removal.
  • Operate equipment to peel husks and dry corn.
  • Log drying times accurately for each batch.
  • Bag dried corn and prepare it for shipment as seed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation (job site is not accessible by public transit).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Basic data entry and computer skills preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
