Job description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION

Working under general supervision diagnose and troubleshoot problems with machinery.

Inspect, adjust, and repair machinery controls including PLCs, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Model the right behavior in terms of initiative, compliance, moral character (honor, integrity and

courage) and work ethic to create teamwork and mutual respect amongst employees.

2. Build team spirit, pride and camaraderie within team.

3. Promote safety, environmental responsibility and continuous quality improvement in accordance with

company policies.

4. Complies with all the policies and procedures set forth in the Company Handbook.

5. Ensure operations of electrical systems including PLCโ€™s, drives, controllers, sensors, and other

components.

6. Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs to malfunctioning equipment following electrical and

safety codes.

7. Program drives, PLCโ€™s and other electrical devices.

8. Maintain equipment calibration and repair history maintenance system.

9. Under direction, program automated machinery, verify operation, and test for malfunctions.

10. Diagnose, calibrate, and repair faulty operation of electrical combustion components, mechanical,

hydraulic and pneumatic components of furnaces and other machinery.

11. Maintains work area in a safe manner and keeps a clean and orderly work area.

12. Follows safety rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and suggests ways for continual

improvement.

13. Participate in training sessions as required.

14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
