Machine Operator - Montgomery, IL

3:30PM - 12 AM MONDAY-FRIDAY

$19/hr-$23/hr *BASED OFF OF INTERVIEW*

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators and CNC Machinists to join our team. These positions require candidates to comply with ITAR regulations. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production machines, while CNC Machinists will focus on operating manual lathe machines and assembling components.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various production machines according to work instructions.
  • Load materials into machines and monitor production runs.
  • Submit initial pieces for approval and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
  • Continue production upon approval, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Perform basic quality inspections using rulers, measuring devices, and visual inspection techniques.
  • Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Follow production schedules while meeting quality and throughput expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate and work with manual lathe machines (for CNC Machinists).
  • Assemble and machine components to meet production specifications.
  • Read and follow work instructions and the person hand and power tools to complete assembly and machining tasks.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.
