Job description

TITLE: MAC Systems Engineer
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (downtown) - Onsite
ANTICIPATED DURATION:  Through end of year + 
Overview
We’re seeking a Systems Engineer (Mac/Endpoint) to provide back-end configuration, maintenance, and support for workstation and security applications and services. This role will focus heavily on Mac endpoint management and related platforms including Jamf, Apple Enterprise Services, Apple Business Manager (ABM), and Microsoft Intune, partnering closely with security and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure endpoint services.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Engineering / MDM Administration

  • Provide back-end administration and support for Jamf, Apple Enterprise Services, Apple ABM, and Microsoft Intune (and related workstation services).
  • Plan and define detailed requirements for new and changing infrastructure/endpoint services.
  • Build, package, and prepare applications/configurations for automated deployment and self-service.
  • Create and test pilot versions of new or updated endpoint services before broader rollout.
  • Review and manage ServiceNow tickets related to Jamf/Mac, updating status and notes in a timely manner.
  • Deliver senior-level troubleshooting, incident response, and problem resolution for endpoint platform offerings.

Documentation / Support Enablement

  • Create solution documentation to enable Global Help Desk teams to support end users effectively.

Security & Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Manage and support endpoint-related security frameworks and practices, including integrated tools such as Zscaler and antivirus solutions.
  • Balance security and usability, partnering with teams to tune policies appropriately.
  • Partner with technology owners and stakeholders to support implementation initiatives across business services.
  • Support and respond to security incidents impacting endpoint services.

Reporting, Architecture Coordination, and Continuous Improvement

  • Create endpoint reports for stakeholders as requested.
  • Evaluate advanced requests for feasibility and provide guidance on approach and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and provide feedback on system architecture considerations, including project timing and impacts.
  • Stay current on emerging endpoint technologies through ongoing research and learning.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years administering Jamf, Intune, or other MDM solutions supporting Mac endpoints.
  • 1+ year experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Advanced scripting skills (e.g., bash, Python, and similar).
  • Experience handling and supporting security incidents.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work based on severity/criticality and business impact.


The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 to $50.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
