We are seeking a highly motivated Information Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and providing advanced technical support for a wide range of IT-related issues. Your tasks will include setting up and troubleshooting laptop and mobile hardware, printers, video conferencing, and software connectivity. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in onboarding new hires and managing applications support. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, certifications, and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this position. This is a Hybrid position and you must reside within driving distance of Hudson, WI


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and troubleshoot wired/wireless LANs and workgroup Laptops, and Mobile (Android and iOS) hardware issues, video conferencing and A/V equipment, related software.
  • Manage Applications and VOIP support and assist with the escalation of tickets to the IT Manager for complex issues.
  • Resolve connectivity issues with users both in-person and remotely. 
  • Provision, configure, ship and support laptop hardware, mobile devices and related equipment for new hires.
  • Onboard and offboard users efficiently by managing account creation, access provisioning, security settings, and license allocation. 
  • Software installation and patching.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, following up as needed.
  • Effectively document support requests, updates, and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Resolve support requests in an appropriate amount of time according to our SLA.
  • As this role is Hybrid, you must live within a reasonable driving distance of Hudson WI office as you will be required to travel to the office on a needed basis.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Minimum Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ year college degree in IT or equivalent technical training and work experience. 
  • 2+ years desktop support experience in a corporate help desk environment; including 1+ years in a role supporting a remote workforce.
  • Ability to manage hardware inventory, including shipping and receiving company assets.
  • Experience in analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of computer and telephony problems for end-users. 
  • Proficiency with computer hardware/software, including the Office product suite with Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange (On-Prem, Hybrid, M365), Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows 11.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud-Based Applications listed above, PowerShell Scripting, configuring and supporting Mobile devices (iOS), Mobile Device Management (Atera, IBM MaaS360), printers, video conferencing and A/V equipment. 
  • Knowledge in supporting VOIP cloud-based phone systems.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
  • Experience following IT Security policies and best practices. 
  • Sound judgment, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Great organizational skills and teamwork, with ability to multitask, prioritize, take detailed case notes and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in up scaling your professional development with courses and certifications.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Bullhorn ATS and Salesforce CRM a strong plus.
  • CompTIA, MCSA, Azure cloud or Intune certifications a plus.
