We’re here to ensure safe, timely transport, including discharge services from any medical facility
Position Overview – Day Shift
We are seeking dependable, service-oriented professionals to join our team as Day Shift Wheelchair Van Drivers. Daytime operations represent one of our highest-demand service periods, supporting scheduled medical appointments, dialysis transports, hospital discharges, rehabilitation visits, and interfacility transfers.
As a Day Shift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients arrive safely, on time, and with dignity. This position requires strong time management, attention to safety, and a compassionate, patient-first mindset. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for patients, families, healthcare staff, and dispatch throughout the day.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured daytime schedules and want to make a meaningful impact in their community.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a wheelchair-accessible van during scheduled daytime routes
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare locations
  • Assist patients in and out of the vehicle using proper lifting, securement, and safety procedures
  • Ensure all wheelchairs and mobility devices are properly secured before transport
  • Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to patients and families
  • Maintain punctuality and efficient time management throughout assigned routes
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized vehicle interior
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare providers regarding arrival times, delays, or special transport needs
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, HIPAA guidelines, company policies, and traffic laws
