Part-Time Van Driver / Patient Transport

Location: Pilgrim Manor โ€“ Plymouth, IN

Pilgrim Manor is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver / Patient Transport to join our skilled nursing facility in Plymouth, IN.

This flexible position offers 8โ€“24 hours per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and providing exceptional customer service. As our Van Driver, you will safely transport residents to and from appointments, dialysis treatments, and other scheduled outings while ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout each trip.

Schedule
  • Part-Time

  • 8โ€“24 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the facility vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments and other scheduled destinations.

  • Escort and assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.

  • Ensure residents arrive on time and remain comfortable throughout transportation.

  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding transportation schedules and resident needs.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the transportation vehicle.

  • Follow all safety protocols and transportation regulations.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • CNA certification preferred, but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to assist residents with mobility needs.

  • Previous experience transporting patients or working in healthcare is a plus.
