The Role
At Compass Concierge, we don’t just staff a desk; we curate an experience. As an Elite Residential Concierge, you will represent an elevated standard of hospitality, professionalism, and discretion within our residential communities.
This position is designed for experienced concierge and hospitality professionals who consistently demonstrate polished communication, sound judgment, exceptional reliability, and the ability to anticipate resident and client needs. Elite Residential Concierges may support properties with higher service expectations, complex operations, or a greater need for independent decision-making.
This is not a supervisory role. However, you will be expected to model Compass standards through the quality of your service, communication, presentation, and follow-through.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver polished, attentive, and personalized service to residents, guests, clients, vendors, and property management teams
  • Build professional rapport with residents while maintaining appropriate boundaries and protecting their privacy
  • Anticipate resident and operational needs and address concerns proactively
  • Manage calls, emails, service requests, amenity reservations, and resident communications with accuracy and professionalism
  • Monitor building access and verify residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and deliveries according to property procedures
  • Oversee package intake, logging, storage, notification, and release using property-approved systems
  • Prepare clear, detailed incident reports, resident communications, and end-of-shift notes
  • Exercise sound independent judgment when handling access concerns, resident complaints, unusual activity, and emergencies
  • Coordinate move activity, vendor visits, building notices, resident events, and other front desk operations
  • Maintain a polished, organized, and service-ready lobby and front desk environment
  • Use tactful de-escalation techniques during difficult or high-pressure interactions
  • Adapt to the procedures, technology, and service expectations of the assigned property


To Be Considered, You Must Possess:

  • At least four years of customer-facing experience in luxury residential, hospitality, hotel, concierge, corporate reception, property management, or another high-service environment
  • Direct concierge, luxury front desk, hotel front office, or residential-service experience
  • A demonstrated record of delivering polished, high-touch customer or resident service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong judgment and the ability to make appropriate decisions with limited supervision
  • Exceptional reliability, punctuality, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Discretion when handling confidential resident, client, and property information
  • The ability to remain composed, professional, and solutions-focused during difficult interactions
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office; experience with BuildingLink, Yardi, KeyLink, ButterflyMX, RentCafe, or similar systems is preferred
  • Consistent adherence to Compass Concierge’s black or navy business-suit dress code
  • Availability for schedules that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, shift extensions, and inclement weather
  • Reliable transportation to assigned properties throughout the Washington, DC Metro Area
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
