Job description

Job Summary:
Lutron Electronics is a leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions. They are seeking a Manager – Software Tools to design, implement, and maintain software solutions for their Go To Market tools, while managing technical teams and interfacing with stakeholders to define a strategic platform vision.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement sustainable technical architecture for key components of the Connected Workflow including Lutron Connect Web Platform, Lutron IoT Cloud Services, and 3rd Party Integration Solutions.
• Align technical vision to deliver on business objectives, and present to technical stakeholders through the VP level
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption of modern architectures, including cloud-native, AI-driven, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, governance models, and best practices for GTM tool development and integration.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex requirements into scalable and sustainable architecture.
• Lead a team of technical solution architects.
• Mentor the broader department and Community of Practice with technical best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
• 10+ years of experience including at least 3 in a software tools leadership role.
• Experience with GTM Tools (Commerce Solutions, Salesforce, Logik, New Relic, PowerBI).
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Proven communication skills across peers and technical stakeholders.
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable business impact.
• Experience with LLM technologies (Agentforce, ChatGPT, Claude, Cody)
