Job description

Dishwasher – Lunchtime Solutions
Location: On-site at IKM Manning
Schedule: Monday–Friday
The Dishwasher helps keep things running smoothly by making sure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready to go. In this role you’ll play a big part in keeping the kitchen neat, organized, and safe, all while working alongside a team to keep meal service on track.
What You’ll Do
  • Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods and maintaining clear separation between clean and dirty areas.
  • Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
  • Maintain food‑safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
  • Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low or become worn.
  • Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed.
  • Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks including grasping handwasher for long periods of time.
