Description
Summary: Under the direction of the Starmax Director, or designee the Mechanic will perform a range of duties to include inspect, service, repair and maintain all Starmax equipment, to include bowling lanes, batting cages, bumper cars, theaters, and arcade.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Ensures all pinsetters and mechanical equipment is working efficiently and properly maintained in compliance with USBC standards.
The mechanic will follow preventative maintenance schedules on all bowling equipment, this includes pinsetters, ball returns, lane machine, lane surfaces, bumper and gutter systems and automatic scoring systems.
The mechanic will apply standard trade practices in diagnosing equipment malfunctions by referring to manufactures diagrams, specifications and schematics.
Follow preventative maintenance schedules
Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical bowling equipment, batting cages and bumper cars
Inspect and test all mechanical bowling equipment, bumper cars and batting cages daily
Identify, locate and order parts as necessary
Maintain equipment records and document work performed
Typical Qualifications
Education, Certification and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid Driver's License/no restrictions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
