Mid Minnesota Entertainment

Wyoming, MN • On-site

Part-time

Job description

Mid Minnesota Entertainment is the team behind Minnesota favorites The Dead End Hayride, The Great Pumpkin Trail, and Pinehaven Farm. We create unforgettable seasonal experiences for hundreds of thousands of guests each year through immersive attractions and a team that knows how to work hard and have fun doing it.
The Great Pumpkin Trail is looking for Character Performers! Let's see what you've got!
A quick look at what we're looking for!
Gwenyth the Witch - 5'7"-5'10" (Female or Fem Presenting - Any Ethnicity)
  • Small- Large
  • Knowledge of ASL Preferred

Once on the witches' board that oversaw Wyoming, MN, she is now down to just her and the wonderful creations she has brought forward. She is poised, but not too prim and proper. She helped bring these pumpkins and the Pumpkin Princess to life. She is happy to see the guests, but stresses out from time to time, as if she needs to create new designs and cultivate the magic that still exists in these lands. She lets Lumina lead the trail and helps guide her when she asks for help.
Lumina the Pumpkin Princess - 5'6"-5'8" (Female - BIPOC)
  • Small - XL

A silly pumpkin princess who is excited to meet the world and greet new living creatures. She was created by Gwenyth after the witches' board was disbanded. She has a sense of wonder, curiosity, and spunk that helps her rule the trail. She's easily excitable when she learns new things. She's a friend to every pumpkin, creature, and guest that roams the trail.
Hector the Lone Mariachi - 5'5"-5'9" (Male - Hispanic)
  • Medium - XL
  • Knowledge of Spanish preferred
  • Singing/Guitar skills preferred

For a skeleton that's over 200 years old, he still has the gift of being the best musician in Minnesota. After being brought back to life by the power of Lumina's care, he roams the trails singing and playing his guitar in hopes his old band will join him once again to fill the world with music. He's fun, loves to perform, and has the best pep in his step. He also likes to crack dad jokes from time to time.
Howden the Pumpkin Mayor - 5'6"-5'11" (Any Gender - Any Ethnicity)
  • Small - Large
  • Basic Knowledge of hand/magic preferred

Since Lumina gets too excited over the tiniest things, Gwenyth decided to create another authority figure to help her guide them to peace. Howden is here to guide Lumina on the right path along with all the wonderful guests that flock to the trails. He's filled with wonderful stories AND has some fun tricks up his sleeve.
The pay range for this role is:
13 - 16.50 USD per hour (Pinehaven Farm)
